Advanced Therapeutic Massage is an individually tailored treatment for areas of persistent tension, discomfort, restriction or muscular imbalance. Rather than following a set massage routine, your session begins with a conversation about what you're experiencing and, where appropriate, an assessment of movement and the areas that may be contributing to how your body feels. Your treatment may draw from a combination of deep tissue techniques, myofascial release, assisted stretching, IASTM and therapeutic cupping, alongside slower massage techniques where appropriate. The aim isn't simply to apply more pressure. Sometimes the most effective treatment is deeper and more focused. At other times, your body may respond better to slower, gentler work. The technique is chosen around you — not the other way around. This is a collaborative treatment. We'll continue to check in with how things feel, and techniques can be adapted or changed throughout your session. Advanced Therapeutic Massage is scent-free, allowing the focus to remain on assessment, movement and targeted hands-on treatment. What to expect We'll begin by discussing what has brought you for treatment, including any areas of pain, tension or restricted movement and what you'd like support with. Your treatment will then be shaped around what we find and how your body responds on the day. Depending on your needs, this may include targeted massage, myofascial techniques, assisted stretching, IASTM or therapeutic cupping. Nothing is automatically included simply because it is available — we'll use only the techniques that are appropriate for you. Where cupping is appropriate, this will always be discussed with you beforehand and used only with your consent. Cancellation Policy
A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking. Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with more than 48 hours' notice without penalty. Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before your appointment will result in the 30% deposit being retained. For cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, the remaining balance of the treatment may be charged. I understand that illness and unexpected circumstances happen. Where appropriate, particularly for clients living with cancer, chronic illness or acute illness, these terms may be waived at my discretion.
