HELLO

I work with women navigating stress, overwhelm, and the demands of everyday life.

With specialist training and a deep understanding of the nervous system, I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, reset and gently reconnect with yourself.

MEET LAURA

After suffering burn out after a 25 year career as a high performing National Sales Manager for two Sofa Manufacturers, based in the UK and the Far East…I ended up in hospital with a suspected stroke.

Thankfully it wasn’t a stroke, but chronic Hemiplegic Migraines and Chronic Fatigue, that had me bed bound for 8 long months.

This was a dark and lonely frightening place, but it was in the dark place that a tiny pin prick of an idea that started to form.

To learn a Toolbox of Therapies to help other women.

Women who are burnt out, struggling with the stresses of every day life and also women who have been abused, in the myriad of subtle and not so subtle ways.

If it hadn’t been for my complete and utter devastating Burnout, I would never have been able to get off the corporate monster of a hamster wheel…which I am now truly grateful for, as it has brought me to the best chapter of my life, with the experience and skills to help other women.

Massage has always been a staple in my life…when done well, with minimal chatter!...so my first step was to qualify as a Massage Therapist.

With a Diploma in Massage, qualifications in Hands Free Deep Tissue Massage, Advanced Myofascial Release Therapy and Oncology & Palliative Care Massage, you are in knowledgeable and safe hands.

Certified in Aromatherapy, I make my own blends for your treatments and can also make up a bespoke blend especially for you.

Following a Consultation, I will discuss with you the best treatment plan for your needs that day, using a combination of techniques to release built up tension in your muscles that have accumulated with the stresses and strains of daily life.

As a Somatic Trauma Therapist, I understand the nervous system and how emotions and trauma can be stored in the body as chronic pain and muscle tension. Massage can help immensely with this and I create a safe and nurturing space should you want explore and work through any issues.

As a busy Mum running around after 4 children, a husband and a retriever, I have very little time to myself, so the fact that Laura can visit me at home makes life a lot easier for me.

I count down the weeks for Laura’s visit!

Amanda

I felt instantly at ease and safe with Laura. I suffered abuse as a child and have a lot of trauma around my neck and head, but slowly, over time, Laura was able to gently bring a nurturing touch to these red flag areas, and eliminate any triggers.

She also gave me a blend of aromatherapy oils to take home with me, so in times of stress, I smell the blend and it instantly makes me relax.

Massage is much more than just relaxing some muscles, Laura has a healing touch.

Muriel

After surgery I was nervous to have a massage, but Laura was able to adapt my position so I was extremely comfortable, and she checked regularly that her pressure was ok and advised to shorten the time of the treatment.

It was such a relief to have a massage and think I recovered quicker because of it.

Kelsey

Laura is truly gifted. I had three massages with her about three weeks apart, and I was amazed to see my body go from being very tight to relaxed and flowing over that time. Laura listens, makes you feel safe and seen, and intuitively knows exactly what you need for each session. I also love her use of aromatherapy and essential oils in the session. It’s so fun to pick the oils out myself each time and see what comes up from them. I highly recommend Laura! She is now part of my health maintenance routine!
